Comfortable seating with waterproof covers.....the "Chill-out" range of bean filled furniture from Link Design. The range includes a 2 seater sofa, which can also be used as a supportive bed, a lounger, an armchair, a standard chair and a cube shaped footstool.
The bean (polystyrene balls) filled "Chill-out" furniture moulds to the user's individual body shape, absorbing their natural weight, thus helping to relieve tension and stress.
Designed as a cost effective, stylish form of seating particularly suited to younger people, the furniture is ideal for use in sensory rooms as well as in bedrooms and lounges.
The furniture is offered in Microcare, a high-tech upholstery fabric based on a unique combination of a "Teflon" finished Micro-suede fabric with a waterproof polyurethane coating and a quality Vinyl.
We offer a comprehensive selection of both Microcare and Vinyl colours. Both fabric types are fire resistant to BS5852, 1 and 2, Ignition Source 5 and are easily cleaned. Full cleaning instructions are available.
All "Chill-out" seating has a zip in the base. Once the furniture has been filled with beans, the zips are hand stitched so that they cannot easily be undone. The furniture is not suitable for users who will attempt to undo the zips. Jumping onto the furniture could result in the seams bursting, therefore they are not recommended if robust behaviour is an issue.
