Link Design offers 2 different styles of wooden bed.
Both the standard and box beds are strongly manufactured and have a clean, modern appearance. They are able to meet the needs of a demanding environment.
Our wooden beds accommodate a 3' (36") mattress and have solid 17mm MDF bases with ventilation holes.
The Box Bed is particularly suited to withstand rigorous usage.
The base is a 17mm thick MDF board with ventilation holes. The base is securely screwed down onto all 4 sides of the bed frame, greatly increasing its overall strength.
The Box Bed is also available as a Captain's style bed with 2 lockable drawers.
The headboard for the box bed can be supplied separately so that it may be independently fixed to the wall. Otherwise, it is manufactured as part of the head of the bed for increased strength.
The standard bed has solid beech legs, rails and headboard frame.
The headboard is an integral part of the bed legs. This feature further enhances the strength of the bed.

Because of the reaction of urine on wood based products, the above beds are not recommended for use if incontinence is an issue. To overcome this problem, please refer to details of our PVC covered all-foam beds and mattresses.
