The construction specification has evolved over many years to help overcome the everyday problems relating to challenging behaviour and the safety and hygiene issues experienced by our customers. If possible, we will be pleased to customise our furniture if the standard specification doesn't meet your requirements or solve your particular problems.

Some of the Features that Make It Special

• Constructed from a combination of solid beech, real beech faced MDF and tough, wood effect laminates.
• Drawers run on internal frames and have solid bases to prevent "sagging". "Stops" help prevent the removal of drawers.
• Beds have solid beech legs, rails and headboard frame. All beds are supplied with solid MDF bases.
• Locks. In challenging environments, it is recommended that all drawers and doors are fitted with locks.
• Doors have solid beech lippings to the edges and double cranked steel hinges that allow them to be opened through 270°.
• Wall Fixings are available. When specified, units have a cut-out at the back to enable furniture to fit flush to the wall.
• Handles are securely fixed, beech wood as standard. Other styles may be specified.

Finishes

The following finishes are currently available as standard:

• Natural Beech with a Beech laminate top
• Light Oak with a Medium Oak laminate top
• Cherry with a Warm Cherry laminate top
